New Delhi – Indo-Pacific Parks Partnership

Experts from India, France and South Africa gathered in New Delhi for the Indo-Pacific Learning Seminar, a crucial initiative under the Partnership for Indo-Pacific parks (Link to the publication on Linkedn In). An initiative that aims to strengthen the capacities of the Indo-Pacific region in the sustainable management of protected areas.

On the agenda, a restitution by ONF International on the good practices seen during the September mission to South Africa (within the Kruger National Park).
This was followed by a mission to the State of Assam within the Kaziranga National Park which allowed us to address the following themes:

  • wildlife monitoring and inventory techniques
  • research and development in biodiversity management
  • ecotourism
