Without counting the process of deforestation the last 20 years have seen an unprecedented rise in the world's plantation surface area of 40%. Each plantation has a distinct vocation from habitat restoration, soil protection, production of food, wood, cellulose or energy, carbon sequestration or landscape improvement.
ONFI has been implicated in the establishment and maintenance of more than 10 000ha of plantations in Chile, Colombia, Tunisia, Brazil, Cameroon, DRC and Lebanon.

Today ONFI is engaged in important new programmes alongside industrialists, financial backers (green investments in Colombia or Brazil) and environmental patrons (projects in Haiti or Madagascar in the development and fight against the greenhouse effect).

To accompany us in our task ONFI has implemented a range of services permitting the harmonious development of our projects.
