SYLVAFRICA is the subsidiary and African antenna of ONFI.

Implanted in Libreville since its creation in 2000, SYLVAFRICA proposes a wide range of services linked to the protection and management of Central Africa's forest ecosystems. Through the bias of SYLVAFRICA, ONFl participles actively towards the preservation and rational and sustainable harvesting of the Congo Basin forest massif covering some 1.8 million KM2. SYLVAFRICA provides its experience to forestry companies, States, local communities, etc...in terms of the elaboration and implementation of forest management plans.

SYLVAFRICA maintains local and international partnerships with environmental NGOs, research and training institutes, specialists in tropical ecology, sociology, forest taxation and economics. It has already completed numerous projects, notably in Benin, Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, CAR and DRC.
